Privacy Policy – RadioAndroid

Last updated: 14 July 2026

RadioAndroid is an internet radio player for Android. This policy explains what the app does with your data. The short version: the app does not collect, store or share any personal data, and it has no user accounts, no advertising and no analytics.

1. Data the app collects

None. RadioAndroid does not collect, transmit or store any personal data. There are no user accounts, no registration and no login. The app contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK.

2. Data stored on your device

Everything the app saves stays on your device and is never uploaded anywhere:

Uninstalling the app removes its private data. Files you exported to Downloads stay on your device until you delete them.

3. Internet connections the app makes

The app connects to the internet in order to play radio and to show cover art. No personal data is sent in any of these requests.

Destination When What is sent
The radio station's own server (the stream address you added) While a station is playing A standard media stream request. The station's server sees your device's IP address, exactly as it would in any browser or radio app.
Apple iTunes Search API (itunes.apple.com) When the stream reports the currently playing track The artist and title of that track, to look up the album cover.
Deezer API (api.deezer.com) Fallback, when iTunes has no match for the track The artist and title of that track.
radio-browser.info When looking for a station logo The station name.
AudioAddict / RadioTunes API (api.audioaddict.com) When resolving RadioTunes channel logos Nothing but the request for the public channel list.
fmstream.org Only when you open the built-in station browser Nothing beyond a normal page request; the site opens in a web view so you can find and copy a stream address.

These requests contain no identifiers, no account information and nothing about you — only the name of a song or a station. As with every internet connection, the services above can see your device's IP address. Their own privacy policies apply to what they do with the requests they receive.

4. Permissions and why they are needed

The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files outside its own folder.

5. Bluetooth and Android Auto

The app publishes the station name, track title and cover art to the Android media session so that your car head unit, Bluetooth device or Android Auto can display them and control playback. This information stays on your device and its connected accessory; nothing is sent to the developer.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

8. Content responsibility

You add the radio stations yourself. The developer does not host, control or curate any stream and is not responsible for the content the stations broadcast. Please respect the copyright laws in your country.

9. Changes to This Policy

If the app functionalities change in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

10. Contact
